Emma's story

1959
From her husband, Emma Eliz Kletschka (born 1901) receives the Mercury Monterey as a present for her retirement.

Because of Emma's age the Mercury gets laid up in 1979.

Only once in a while Emma's son Harold (born 1924) drives the car.

The car (now named after its former owner Emma Kletschka) is shipped from Lake Hubert via New York to Europe. "Emma" arrives safely in Bremen/Germany and later her new home Schermbeck.
